This week we're featuring Dustin Permenter, who built this custom wheel hub for his Yamaha Big Wheel dirtbike.
He says:
"This hub was built for an 80’s Yamaha Big Wheel dirtbike. The bike is street legal and we had trouble finding DOT tires for the original 9” rim and the oem sprockets were no longer available. This hub was built to utilize a more common Polaris bolt pattern and a readily available drive sprocket. I utilized 4340 for the flanges and DOM tubing for the main hub tube, sourced through Speedy."
